X2 Recruit are looking for a Catering Assistant for our client in the following locations:

Macclesfield Area, Cheshire East

Alsager area, Cheshire East

Knutsford Area, Cheshire East

Crewe/Nantwich area, Cheshire East

To lead on the daily delivery of school meal services in a named primary school which requires leadership of preparation and cooking of a range of food menu items as set by the local authority catering service. Number of daily meals will be determined by size of school.

In most cases, a kitchen assistant(s) are available to assist with preparation and service.

Role also requires ordering management through local authority IT systems ( support provided)

Skills/expertise need to include appropriate cooking qualifications and food safety – availability of training will be provided where needed.

DBS will be required to work in schools

Hours – to be determined by each school but in the region of 5 hours per day – 25 hours per week
